Past event June 8-15 This was a great event. Gary taught two classes daily and they were favorites of the attendees. I heard nothing but good comments. Gary is an awesome instructor for beginners to advanced. Gary also performed at an evening concert series. Steve Kaufman's Acoustic Kamps Maryville, TN June 8-15 and June 15-22, 2008
Readers Choice Gold Award Winners since 2002 Gary will be one of the banjo instructors at Steve Kaufman's Acoustic Kamp 2008 (at the foothills of the Great Smokey Mountain National Park). This is the first week of a two-week Kamp. This first week will focus on Fingerpicking, Bluegrass banjo, Old Time Banjo, Dobro, Fiddle and Bass. If you like picking banjo, this is one camp that you cannot miss. The opportunity to spend a week with Gary does not come along very often. Gary will be joined by Bob Black, Janet Davis and Murphy Henry. These are also some great banjo instructors.
