The three towns of Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are the gateway to the Smoky Mountain National Park on the west side.

The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is the most visited of all National Parks and is something that you will never forget.  If you love nature, the park is hard to beat with it's sheer beauty and it's wildlife

The three towns are the perfect compliment to the beauty and tranquility of the park.  The three towns offer enough to keep you busy for a long time even if there were no park.

Pigeon Forge and Sevierville are home to shopping and entertainment of a scale disproportional to their size.  They are a great place to live,  and an exciting place to visit.  Dollywood is the centerpiece of the area.  When most people think about Dollywood, they shrug and say "Ya, another theme park".  Well,  I did too.  But Dollwood is different.  It is clean, beautifully architected and really does have something for everyone.  The entertainment is world-class, the southern style food is great and the rides are world renown.  The wooden roller coaster was voted the best wooden roller coaster in the world.

Gatlinburg, closest to the park entrance,  is a quaint walking town with shops, arts and crafts, an excellent aquarium and even a ski lift and tram. It is a great place to spend some time.
